Cyla Junior was dumped onto the streets with her friends when their owner decided they were not wanted anymore!
Unfortunately not all of her flock survived, being prone to illness and predation, Cyla was one of the lucky few that were able to be rescued in time. ❤️ but now all she wants to do is put that in the past and step into a new life!
Cyla’s fancy grizzled feathers and spunky nature will be sure to charm you. Cyla is comfortable stealing treats from your hand, but is still learning to trust people after being done wrong by them in the past. This means she would like another pigeon friend to accompany her in her home.
Cyla thinks she’d look amazing in your home!

Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) which can be found on our website:

Please make sure to read our HOUSING REQUIREMENTS and ADOPTION POLICY.
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
