Oscar loves pats and cuddles - he literally leans into it. He is the master of gentle headbutts as his way of saying hello, thank you, and “please don’t stop patting me.” He purrs like it’s his full-time job and has the sweetest, kindest personality - sometimes he stops eating just to ask for pats.
Oscar isn't a wild, zooming type of kitten; he is more of a curious explorer who enjoys wandering about and checking things out, often following his more adventurous brother, but he's equally happy to come back to his safe room and be close to his humans for a good cuddle session.
This gorgeous brown tabby boy is still growing and likely to become quite the big, handsome lad, more to love, more to snuggle.
Oscar is a social soul and happiest when he has a feline friend by his side. He’ll need to be adopted with his best mate and brother Lance or his gentle sister Payton, or into a home with a friendly, playful cat who’d enjoy a cuddly companion. He’s also shown he can live peacefully with well-mannered dogs: if they’re calm and give him space, he’s happy to wander over for a polite sniff and then go about his day.
Because Oscar is such a gentle, sensitive boy, he’s best suited to a home without very young or loud children. Slightly older children 6+ years of age would be fine as long as they understand that Oscar isn’t a toy, even if he looks like one: he’s a soft-hearted companion who thrives on calm, respectful handling and has boundaries to be respected.
Life with Oscar looks like quiet companionship, soft purring beside you on the couch, and those little head nudges that make your heart melt every single time.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (a 25% admin fee will apply)
