Mercy (On Trial)

Mercy went on trial 25/8/11. Please consider our other foxy's and other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . Mercy is a 7 year old foxy. She's an alert, sweet natured lass. She’s a real smoocher who loves to climb up on your knee and cuddle, and will happily go to sleep there for as long as you are able to sit with her. By nature she is very devoted and just wants to belong to someone. Mercy is alert and curious and likes to be involved with everything that’s going on in the household. She has always lived with other dogs and gets along well with dogs her own size or smaller. She is a little overwhelmed by large dogs. She is well behaved but more training with her new owner could be helpful as well. She walks well on a lead, enjoys a drive in the car, doesn’t have a problem with cats, and is used to being an inside-outside dog – she likes to sit out in the sun and have a yard to romp around in, but she loves to be inside with her family when they are home. She loves being inside and sleeps in her basket contentedly though she also enjoys outdoors. She is calm, gentle, affectionate and loyal yet quite playful as well. I think she would be a great friend to any family or adult, though like most of us, she'd no doubt prefer some company during a good part of the day. Small dogs like mercy will typically live to around 15 so mercy still has half her life ahead of her.
