My Ideal Home:
• Familiarity and understanding of my breed traits would be highly valued.
• I'll need daily exercise - walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• I want to be part of the family indoors - not left outside without interaction.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Regular grooming and brushing will keep me looking and feeling my best.
• Most importantly, I'm looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• Socialisation is just as important as training. Taking me to new places, introducing me to all sorts of people, dogs, and other animals will help me grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
• I'd love a friendly dog playmate my own size - or, if I'm your only dog, regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a cat.

My Paw-some Perks:
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I'll only keep improving.
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I'm quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.

Training:
• I may initially shy away from things going over my head (like a lead), but I warm up quickly and my fun, lively personality soon shines through.
• I've had little to no training so I would benefit from a family that would help me with this. I do appear house trained as long as I get regular outside breaks. Accidents may still happen.


Please Note: You'll only be able to meet Izzy if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
