About Betty - 9 Week Old Mixed Breed
🐾 “Boop-Oop-a-Doop” – It’s Betty! 🐾
Sweet, snuggly, and just the right amount of cheeky – Betty is a sunshine-filled pup with a wagging tail and a heart full of love 💜
🐶 Friendly & Fun
Betty is a true social butterfly who loves everyone she meets – both humans and dogs! Whether she’s zooming around the yard, playing tug-of-war, or tumbling about with her foster siblings, she brings energy and joy wherever she goes.
💡 Smart & Eager to Learn
This clever little cookie is already making great progress with toilet training and is learning her basic commands like sit and come. She’s especially motivated when treats are involved (aren’t we all!). With continued guidance, she’s going to shine.
⚽️ Active & Adventurous
Betty is a busy, curious pup who will thrive in a home ready to embrace an active lifestyle. Think walks, playtime, training sessions, and lots of enrichment – she’s a go-getter who will need both mental and physical stimulation as she grows.
🛌 Cuddles & Cozy Time
After all the fun, Betty loves nothing more than curling up for a nap. She’s crate-trained at night and sleeps indoors, close to her people where she feels safe and secure.
✨ Big Personality in a Perfect Package
Betty is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and a little bit sassy. From toy time to snuggle time, she’ll keep you smiling and fill your home with love.
💜 Betty is ready to steal your heart and become your new best friend 🐾
Betty is a healthy little puppy who is being fostered in a home environment. She has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and medium) and gets along well with them all, although can be a little excited at first. She's met lots of people, including older children and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Betty will grow up to be a medium to large sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly and patient adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Betty. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there should be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Betty needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Betty’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Betty is in foster care in Bolwarra, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
