Meet Bella, a clever and affectionate girl who truly just wants to love and be loved.
Bella is a quick learner with a big heart and a strong desire to please. In foster care, she has made incredible progress and embraced home life with enthusiasm. She has learned to walk beautifully on lead, confidently navigate steps and cars, and live happily alongside another greyhound.
She thrives in a home environment and, after settling in, taking comfort and guidance from her foster sister. Bella could suit a home with another calm dog or as a solo dog with the right support and routine.
Bella is very food motivated, which makes her a joy to train. She responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement and has already shown how quickly she can grow with gentle guidance. She also has excellent recall and loves being close to her people.
On walks, Bella is doing really well and continues to improve. She can get a little excited when seeing other dogs, but this comes from curiosity rather than any aggression, and she is responding well to ongoing training.
At home, Bella enjoys her creature comforts, especially her cosy bed and her toys, and is happiest when she feels safe and included. She has come a long way in building her confidence and continues to flourish with structure and reassurance.
Bella would be best suited to a home with older or dog-savvy children, as she still has a touch of playful energy. An experienced or patient owner who can continue her training journey will see her truly shine.
With a little time, consistency, and love, Bella will reward her family with loyalty, affection, and a genuine desire to do the right thing. She is the kind of dog who will blossom into an incredible companion in the right home.

Adoption details
The adoption fee is $395 and includes desexing, C5 vaccination, muzzle and lifetime registration in NSW.
Once we found a potential match, the following will happen:
- Phone chat with one of the HBH coordinators
- Phone chat with the foster carer
- Meet and Greet with the foster carer and the dog
- Setting up your personal support group through FB messenger or Whatsapp with Foster Carer and HBH coordinators
- House visit (virtual or in person)
- Paperwork and Adoption fee to be returned to HBH
- Trial start (2 weeks)
- Final adoption!
