About Bixby
Meet Bixby, a sweet and sensitive Staffy who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe. She can be quite nervous in new environments, so she will need a patient, experienced family who can support her through this adjustment period with gentle guidance and consistency.
Once Bixby feels secure, she becomes a lively, boisterous, and strong companion who loves to engage with her people. Bixby is best suited to an adult-only household or one with dog-savvy teenagers who understand how to interact respectfully and confidently with dogs. Bixby will need a home with secure yard access to help her feel safe and to provide space for exercise and play. She may also be okay with a calm and gentle role-model canine companion, pending a meet-and-greet.
With patience, understanding, and the right environment, Bixby has so much love to give and will reward her new family with unwavering loyalty and companionship.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
