About Wanda
Wanda needs the following in her new home:
- An energetic home with a couple of walks a day.
- A desexed playful male dog living in the home (not senior).
- A securely fenced Medium to large yard (she is not suited to apartment or unit living).
- Continue training manners and lead walking.
- To be taken on outing and included in family adventures.
- Is suited with living with children 5 and up.
Wanda is a people loving polite little lady who is fully toilet trained and eager to be loved.
Being a Jack Russell Terrier she loves a spot of window watching and enjoys seeing if there are possums in the backyard but most of the time she loves to be on a walk or curled up with her people. Her young age means that she can be high energy but with an adequate walk or two she rests at home for the rest of her day.
She has a similar sized friend at home and loves wrestling and hanging out with him, she is a very happy and social with other dogs. She can act overly excited towards other dogs while on a walk but it is mostly excitement and she just wants to say hi.
She has lacked training in the past and as such does not know many commands but she has learnt to sit while with her foster family and with a person who is committed to her future training she will learn fast.
She travels with ease in the car and loves to get out and about. She loves all people both big and small and was extremely popular at the primary school she visited. She sleeps in the laundry with the resident dog but is also super comfy on a bed.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
