The stunning Lilly is a devoted and eager-to-please German Shorthaired Pointer and Cattle Dog mix looking for the perfect place to call home.

At 4 years and 8 months and only 22 kg, Lilly brings a delightful blend of energy and affection, making her an excellent companion for those who appreciate a loyal and trainable doggie friend.

Lilly is a bright and enthusiastic learner—to her, every day is a new opportunity to make her humans happy. She excels at loose-leash walking, has a good recall, and enjoys cuddles. Lilly's potential home would be where she can swim, sniff, and point, even spotting rabbits and birds along her walks. Ironically, Lilly is most at ease with other dogs when she's off-leash, relishing outdoor playtime while remaining close to her beloved human.

She also doesn’t seem to care about sheep/ horses/ donkeys/ livestock when walking past so could be ok on a property with other animals.

Lilly thrives in the company of her family and would do well with experienced owners who recognise her need for gradual transitions—ideal for someone who works from home or can provide her with the companionship she craves. Lilly loves children but probably not suited to smaller children.

She has been known to resource guard with the other dog in the home, however with careful attention and training this should resolve in time.

Though Lilly is toilet-trained, patience and gentle support are key when she's anxious or nervous. She is learning to feel more at ease in the car and slowly overcoming her aversion to the vacuum. Eager to meet new people, she happily engages with everyone, relishing in attention and pats.

Lilly would do best in a home with someone familiar with her German Shorthaired Pointer traits, who can provide a consistent, reassuring presence, expert guidance, and plenty of love.
