About Nancy and Hillary
Nancy and Hillary are thick as thieves, unlike their namesakes in the US! These gorgeous girls were found as tiny babies when they really should have still been with mum, and were handed into an emergency vet. Thankfully they ended up with our neonate carer who has raised them into the beautiful girls they are today.
Like most hand raised babies, these girls are super friendly. They love everyone! And they love each other.
Like most kittens they're ready to chase anything that moves. They love pouncing on each other and running around the house until they're all tuckered out.
Then they'll find a warm sunny spot and curl up together (and sometimes with their foster brothers) in a little kitten pile. They play hard, snuggle close and nap in the sun - that's their perfect little world!
They're great with kids and other cats and have been raised in a busy household, so nothing will really phase them.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
