About Earl Grey
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Friendly and affectionate from her first day in foster care, Earl Grey is a pretty young lady with a gorgeous playful streak!
After being rescued with her three kittens, she seemed keen to share her gratitude at every opportunity - rubbing her face lovingly against her carer's legs and demanding constant pats. She's even more cuddly now, especially during TV time and on the bed at night. She adores kisses too!
Earl Grey has a soft meow and will use it politely to let you know she's hungry or her litter needs cleaning. She enjoys playing with her remaining kitten in care, Sticky Chai, and teaching her how to cat :) And don’t let her piercing eyes fool you - she’s just a total softie with a killer face card!
Relaxed and patient, we think Earl Grey will be happiest in a calm home with adults only, or potentially with gentle children aged 10 and up. She'd likely do very well with other low-key cats too.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Earl Grey is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a dainty and regal lady who prefers peaceful, slower-paced environments. Fuss and noise quite unnerve me! I'm not one of those party girls, though I'm certainly beautiful enough for the magazines *preens demurely*
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have my active moments for sure - especially when a good wand toy or ball is involved! But overall I'm pretty chill, spending most of my time snoozing or happily observing the goings-on in my foster home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Cat-loving children on the quieter side might be a good match for me, ideally aged 10+.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my kitten Sticky Chai - we spend hours every day playing, chasing and wrestling together! I imagine another nice cat with a similar calm vibe to me would make a pleasant companion.
I've no idea about dogs, though I've heard of them and, well... less said. (Though I'm well-bred enough to know they're all unique, I shouldn't judge etc etc. So I might get along with the right one, I suppose!)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
