Personality Summary & backstory of cat:
Lamington was found by a concerned community member in the Cumberland LGA, he and his siblings were trapped between a retaining wall and a colour bond fence. They were 2 weeks old, lost, scared and hungry. Mum was nowhere to be seen. KKR received a call for help and rushed there and had to devise a plan to safely remove them from where they were stuck! Quick thinking and some helpful tradies removed the colour bond panels and kindly put them back together afterwards. Genuine heroes that meant the kittens survived! It was touch and go for the kittens, dehydrated from not having been fed and out in the searing heat. With love, care and dedication by an experienced neonatal foster carer they thrived and became healthy happy little kitten.
Lamington has grown from a skeletal tiny kitten into a lovely affectionate kitten that is fast, strong and obsessed with toys. She loves flying around the home playing with her wand toys panting from the exertion. She also loves the tiny mouse or ball toys that she can chase and carry in her mouth. She may be timid when meeting strangers at first. Once you gain her trust, she will lay on any body part in bed and she loves cuddling with you on the sofa.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
