Meet Jewel 💎 – Your Perfect Little Sidekick
Jewel has settled into foster care beautifully, and according to her foster mum… she’s nothing short of the perfect puppy.
Possible breed – This is anyone’s guess and we would be purely speculating. She has spotty dalmatian ears but maybe a splash of BA. What we are sure of though is that she is 100% adorable. We would expect her to be medium to large when fully grown.
On transport day, while everything bustled around her, Jewel simply sat patiently waiting for her foster mum — calmly watching the world go by and quietly winning hearts from everyone she met. And honestly, that sums her up perfectly.
This sweet girl has the most gentle, affectionate nature. She absolutely adores cuddles and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. When she’s not snuggled up, you’ll find her happily entertaining herself with her toys — especially if they squeak (the louder, the better, according to Jewel 🧸).
She’s currently learning how to walk on a lead and just needs a little guidance and consistency from her forever family — she’s a smart cookie and will pick it up in no time.
Jewel also loves playing with her foster fur sister, so she would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to show her the ropes and share in the fun.
And in a charming little twist… we’ve been told she’s a bit of a snorer. But honestly? We think that just adds to her appeal 💤💕
Like all puppies, Jewel will need ongoing training, patience, and understanding as she grows — along with a sense of humour for the classic puppy antics (yes, your socks may go missing… no, she won’t apologise).
Her desex will be covered by the rescue when she is of age

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
