🛑 Medical: Violet has a Grade 2 heart murmur. She has seen a cardiologist and currently, there is no concern with her heart. If the murmur is still present at her 12 month vaccination, the recommendation is to have another Echocardiogram performed.
Introducing Violet — professional lap warmer, devoted companion, enthusiastic chewer, and terrific playmate. She’s sweet, people‑oriented, full of puppy charm, and every bit as cute and delightful as she looks.
Violet is full of personality, and it shines through every day. Her favourite things include playing with her kelpie bestie, playing with her toys, chasing the kelpie as he chases sticks, enjoying morning naps on the her people on the couch or in the bed if she’s allowed — especially if she can sneak under the covers — eating food in any form it appears, and falling asleep on her people.
She sleeps in a crate overnight and spends her days either working from home in her crate or hanging out in her pen with her buddy. She doesn’t enjoy being alone, so she would thrive with either a doggy playmate or a human who is home often.
Violet is an active little pup who loves a morning play, followed by a nap. She snoozes and plays throughout the day and enjoys a walk and play in the evening before settling down on your for the rest of the night.
She is respectful of the resident animals — she backs off (briefly) when the kelpie tells her she’s gone too far, she’s enthusiastic but appropriate with the cat, she’s cautious around large animals, and she happily wanders among the chickens trying to share their food.
Like all puppies, she loves to chew and will give anything a go. She appreciates a tidy house and nothing delights her more than finding socks, bobby pins, papers, or anything you’ve dropped and doing zoomies while you try to get them back.
Vi is still a puppy so expect some puppy behaviours whilst she learns right and wrong – such as jumping on the coffee table, occasional chomping on fingers and toes when they get in the way of whatever she shouldn’t be chomping on, puppy zoomies, and the occasional accident on the floor.
Violet truly is absolutely delightful, the ultimate lap dog and will be a wonderful little companion for the lucky home she eventually joins.
