Polka

Hi hiiii... I'm Polka.

Like my name, I'm a cute little mix of sweet spots-some cuddly, some shy, and a few a bit silly once you get to know me! I might start off a tiny bit timid (I like to do a cautious sniff... maybe two... okay, three) but give me a moment and you'll start to see my goofy side peek out... dot by dot.

I'm 9 months old, which means I'm still a bit of a baby... sometimes I don't quite know what I'm doing, but I try my best and it usually turns into something adorable (or at least I think so). Once I feel safe, I LOVE being near you-I'll follow you around like a little polka-dot shadow, plop myself next to you, and look at you like you're the most amazing human ever.

I have these little bursts of playful energy too-like surprise zoomies or random "what is that?!" moments where I get curious and a bit silly. I'm not over-the-top wild, just a gentle, dorky kind of fun.

I'd really like to be your one and only dog for now so I can feel safe and build my confidence. Maybe in the future I can have some doggy friends, but right now I just want to focus on being your favourite little dot in the whole world.

I can live with children (especially the kind, gentle ones!), and if you work full-time that's okay-I'll spend my day napping, dreaming about snacks, and waiting to do my happy wiggle when you get home!

I might be a little shy at first... but once you connect the dots, you'll get a sweet, silly, loving best friend for life.
