About Sweetheart
Meet Sweetheart,
Sweetheart is a soft, cuddly girl with the gentlest soul and the sweetest heart. While the world can feel a little overwhelming for her at first, all she really wants is a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and blossom at her own pace.
Sweetheart can be shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she slowly transforms into an affectionate companion who loves soft pets, cozy naps, and being close to her favorite humans. She would thrive in a calm home with adults, though she may also do well with respectful older children who understand that trust takes time.
Once she loves you, Sweetheart's gentle cuddles and quiet affection will make every moment feel a little warmer.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
