About Sweetheart
True to her name, Sweetheart is a gentle soul who just needs a quiet corner of the world to call her own. Sweetheart is looking for a patient, low-pressure home-ideally with adults or respectful older teens-where she can blossom at her own pace. Because she finds the big world a little scary, she's looking for an indoor-only lifestyle and a human who understands that "slow and steady" is the best way to win her trust. While she is still a little shy with people, she may enjoy the company of a calm, well-matched feline friend after a very gradual introduction. If you have a peaceful home and a heart full of patience, Sweetheart is waiting to show you just how special she is.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
