About Winx
Meet Winx
Winx is a gentle, sweet girl with a soft nature. She can be a little shy at first and sometimes unsure in new situations, but she truly loves a good chin scratch and gentle pats. With a little patience and kindness, Winx slowly begins to relax and show her lovely personality. Once she feels safe, she’ll happily settle in and make your house feel like home.
Winx would prefer to be an indoor cat, as loud noises can be a little scary for her. She isn’t fussy with her food and happily enjoys her meals and the occasional treat — food is definitely comforting for this sweet girl.
Winx is open to meeting children of all ages, but she would do best in a quieter home with kids who understand that she may need a little time and space while she settles in. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys and would much rather spend her days lounging peacefully nearby.
We think Winx could live with other cats, as she has shown interest in some of the cats currently in our care. As always, slow and positive introductions are recommended. We’re unsure how she would go with dogs, so any introductions would need to be gentle and gradual.
Winx is simply looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and adored. If you have a quiet spot on the couch and a few chin scratches to spare, Winx would love to meet you and see if you could be her forever home.

• If all goes well, we'll discuss the next steps and a meet & greet!
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
