About Simba
Open to meet kids of all age
Open to meet other dogs
Playful and Affectionate
Will be your best friend!
Simba is always hanging around, ready for love and attention. She's an excitable, playful little social butterfly who just wants to be part of whatever you're doing. Simba absolutely loves her soft toys and will happily zoom around with them for hours, showing off her goofy personality.
Simba is open to meeting children of all ages. She can be a little jumpy at times, but she's still young and learning. She would love kids to run around and play with, and once she's had her fun, she's more than happy to lounge around and relax with you (bonus points if Bluey is on the TV).
Simba is dog friendly and wouldn't mind having another dog friend in the home. She can get a little over excited when meeting other dogs which can sometimes put them off, but she doesn't mean it! she just thinks other dogs are the coolest thing ever and can't quite contain herself. We're unsure how she would go with cats, so any introductions would need to be slow and positive.
Simba is still learning how to walk on the lead and will occasionally pull, but with some training and a bit of food motivation she's starting to get the hang of it. Now speaking of food... Simba loves it. It doesn't matter what you're offering, she will happily accept it and probably ask if there's seconds.
Simba might just be your girl. Come meet her and let her charm you!!

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
