About Roo
Meet our sweet Roo.
Roo is a gentle, loving girl who is looking for a home that will give her plenty of love… and of course, food! She doesn’t ask for much, a warm spot to nap and a cosy blanket where she can happily make her famous biscuits is her idea of the perfect day.
Roo has been a fantastic mum over the past 8 weeks, and now it’s finally her time to shine. She’s open to meeting kids of all ages. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a bit of time and you’ll soon find her sitting on you, politely begging for pats.
Roo is also open to meeting cats in your home. She happily strolls around our cattery greeting the other cats in care like the friendly neighbour she is. As always, we recommend slow introductions and plenty of positive reinforcement (preferably in the form of snacks). We’re unsure how Roo would go with dogs, so any introductions would need to be done slowly by her new family.
Now let’s talk about Roo’s true love: food. Wet, dry, treats — if it’s edible, Roo would like to apply for the position of taste tester. Just remember that food time is very important, and she will politely remind you about two hours before dinner. And again, an hour before. Just in case you forgot.
Roo isn’t overly playful, but she does enjoy the occasional feather toy and will give it her best effort… before walking away when she decides the shift is over.
One final requirement: Roo does require a fluffy blanket so her bakery can stay fully operational. Roo’s Bakery is famous for its fresh, round-the-clock biscuit production and is currently relocating to a new location on Lounge Street, Your Home NSW.
If you’re ready to provide endless pats, regular meal service, and a premium biscuit-making blanket, Roo would love to meet you.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
