About Taco
IDEAL HOME: MUST have a doggy friend
KIDS: Amazing
DOGS: Amazing
BREED: Mixed, ONLY SMALL IN SIZE
PERSONALITY: Taco is a beautiful little survivor who has truly embraced his second chance at life. Rescued at just 5 months old after being extremely malnourished, he’s had to learn how to be a puppy from scratch — and he’s done it with the most gentle, grateful spirit.
He’s the kind of dog who NEVER complains and finds JOY in the simplest things. As he grows, so does his personality and it’s becoming something really special.
Taco absolutely LOVES people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.
He’s especially GREAT with kids of all ages, with a CALM and PATIENT NATURE, he doesn’t jump up or get overly excitable.
He’s very EASYGOING and takes busy environments in his stride, making him a great companion for an active lifestyle.
He’d even suit a tradie as a site dog — he’s happy to stay close by your side, doesn’t wander off and just enjoys being near his person.
Taco is still learning, and while he occasionally has little accidents, he has come such a long way and continues to improve every day.
He can be a little timid in big crowds, isn’t a fan of loud noises or motorbikes, and can be slightly hesitant with car trips — but nothing major.
More than anything, Taco deserves a home where he is truly cherished — where the love he’s missed out on early in life is more than made up for.
He’s a loyal, gentle soul who will give so much back to the people lucky enough to have him.

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
