Hello! I’m Elvira, I was found as a lone kitten on Halloween Eve, and I’ve had to fight to become the healthy, sassy queen of chaos I am today! My foster kitten friends and their mums helped teach me how to survive, and now I’m absolutely thriving.

I’m a ball of claws and energy who loves to play-fight with everyone. I bounce around the room like a pinball from toy to toy, only stopping briefly to eat and sleep.

When I trust you, I like to perch on the back of your neck or shoulders and purr right in your ear. Sometimes I’ll even give you little nibbles as a reward for your love. I’m not really a lap cat, as I don’t enjoy being confined or held — I prefer to interact on my own terms.

I arrived in care completely pitch black, but my coat has since developed into the most unique mix of black and dark grey tabby, which just adds to how special I am. If you’re looking for a bit of excitement in the form of a sleek little house panther, I might be the girl for you!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Older children would be best for me, as long as they are respectful of my space and let me come to them. I tend to hide when the resident toddler is around, so a home without very young children would suit me better.

I have come face to face with the resident dog, and wasn’t a big fan. A calm dog who isn’t bothered by cats could be okay, with a slow and patient introduction.

Other cats are a must for me! I sometimes forget how to “cat,” so I need feline friends to play with and occasionally remind me to eat and drink.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Toys — all toys, all sizes, and as many as possible
✅ Play-fighting and high-energy games
✅ Kitten biscuits and kitten milk
✅ Familiar wet food

🚫 Sudden movements — they make me cautious and I may scamper away, but I’ll come back when things feel safe again.
🚫 Small children — I prefer predictable environments and older kids who understand my boundaries.
🚫 Being held — I prefer to come to you, play with you, or sit beside you for pats instead of being picked up

My PURR-fect home would be one or more playful cat friends who can match my energy and help me continue learning how to be a cat. With the right home, plenty of toys, and feline companions, I’ll bring lots of fun, personality, and a little bit of chaos to your life.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
