Adoption information
About Moth
• Quiet, gentle, and still learning to trust
• Sensitive and easily overwhelmed
• Must be adopted into a home with a friendly, confident resident cat or kitten
• Indoors only
• Would suit a calm home with patient adults or older, cat-savvy teenagers
Sweet but shy, Moth is still discovering that the world and people can be kind.
Moth arrived quite scared and hesitant of people, likely having had very limited interaction with humans before arriving at the shelter. She can be tentative in new situations and may prefer to watch from a safe distance before deciding to join in. Sudden movements and loud noises can worry her, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, her curious nature begins to shine through.
She must be rehomed with a friendly, confident cat or kitten. A calm feline companion will help her build confidence, learn how to feel safe in a home environment, and show her that people can be trusted. She takes great comfort in the presence of other cats and will rely on that companionship as she continues to grow.
With understanding adopters who are willing to let her settle at her own pace, this sensitive girl has the potential to blossom into a devoted and quietly affectionate companion.

Save-A-Dog Scheme operates as an adoption agency for our dogs and cats. We spend a substantial amount of time getting to know our animals and we try to match each animal's needs with the new home's needs. We don't work on the same principle as purchasing from a shop or on a 'first come first served' basis. When you visit us, you can be sure we'll do our best to work with you to help find the right companion animal for your home and lifestyle.
