About Marlin & Georgie
š¾ Double the Love: Marlin & Georgie š¾
If youāve ever thought one Beagle might not be enough⦠youāre absolutely right. Meet Marlin & Georgie, a delightful duo ready to bring double the love (and a little Beagle mischief) into their forever home.
Marlin
š
Born: 3 September 2024
āļø Weight: 14.3 kg
A sweet, people-focused young boy, Marlin is all heart. Heās still finding his confidence, so he can be a little sensitive at times (with the occasional nervous wee), but with reassurance and routine, he will absolutely blossom. Heāll benefit from some gentle leash training and guidanceābut he is eager to please and very food motivated, which makes him a great student.
Georgie
š
Born: 3 December 2022
āļø Weight: 8.4 kg
The softer, sweeter soul of the pair, Georgie is a true snuggle bug. She adores people and thrives on human connectionāso much so that sheāll let you know if Marlin disappears from view. She walks well on lead and, although she may not have formal āobedience,ā she has beautiful natural manners. Sheās also a bit of an escape artist and can dig under fences, open crates and scale fences. Secure fencing is a must.
š Their Bond - Georgie and Marlin share a special connection, with Georgie particularly devoted to her boy.
š” The Perfect Home
ā Indoor family home (with couch privileges essential⦠and Georgie is quietly hoping for bed privileges too!)
ā A household where someone is home most of the time
ā Secure fencing (especially for clever Miss Georgie!)
ā A family willing to continue Marlinās confidence-building and basic training
ā Children welcome (though Marlinās enthusiasm may be a bit much for toddlers)
ā Other dogs are absolutely fineāthese two take it all in their stride
Both are toilet and house-trained (with the occasional Marlin accident when he's excited).
They are untested with cats.
š¾ About Beagles
Beagles are one of the most charming and recognisable breeds, known for their soulful eyes, floppy ears and remarkable noses. Originally bred as scent hounds, they are curious, intelligent and naturally driven to explore the world through scent. They are highly food motivated, which makes training very achievable, and they thrive on companionship, happiest as part of daily family life. Gentle and social by nature, they make wonderful family dogsābut do require secure fencing to keep their adventurous noses safely at home.
Marlin & Georgie are a beautiful example of everything we love about Beaglesāaffectionate, engaging and full of personality.
