About Shelly
If you know German Shepherds, then you already know what you're signing up for... and Shelly is delivering the full package.
Shelly is a 5-year-old shepherd who recently decided that the free-roaming lifestyle was pretty great. While it was fun at the time, she's now looking for a shepherd-savvy home that can help her transition back into polite society and put some training under that very clever belt of hers.
Like any true shepherd, Shelly comes with a few classic breed features:
A brain that's always switched on, Enough enthusiasm to power a small city, A deep belief that everything happening within a 200-metre radius is absolutely her business.
She's bouncy, smart, and full of personality. The kind of dog who will happily join you for adventures, activities, training sessions, and probably supervise whatever you're doing just to make sure it's done correctly.
Shelly could live with another dog-she's quite used to having canine company-but her social skills are currently... a work in progress. Her greeting style tends to be enthusiastic barking directly in another dog's face, which not everyone appreciates. With a bit of guidance, structure, and some impulse control training, she'll learn that making friends doesn't require quite that level of intensity.
Shelly is looking for an active, shepherd-experienced home that understands the breed's quirks and loves them anyway. In return, you'll get a loyal, hilarious, high-energy companion who will keep life interesting and never let you go to the bathroom alone again.
If you're ready for a smart, spirited housemate who's equal parts brains, bounce, and shepherd sass, Shelly is waiting to meet you.
