About Jasper
Jasper is a gentle, sensitive soul with a quiet charm that blossoms once he feels safe. Jasper can be a little timid, and takes his time getting to know new people and environments, but with patience and understanding, his sweet personality begins to shine through. Jasper is looking for a calm home with adults or older teens who have experience with shy cats and are willing to let him settle in at his own pace.
He would thrive in a peaceful environment where he can build trust slowly and feel secure. Once comfortable, Jasper enjoys soft companionship and being near his people, even if he's not always the center of attention. He would prefer to be the only cat in the home so he can feel completely at ease and not have to compete for space or affection.
If you have a kind heart, a quiet home, and the patience to help a shy cat come out of his shell, Jasper could be the perfect companion for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
