About Jax
Meet Jax! This lovely boy may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a gentle and affectionate companion. With time, patience, and a calm approach, Jax's true personality starts to shine, and he builds strong, trusting bonds with his people.
He thrives in a quiet, stable home where he can relax and feel secure, enjoying the simple comfort of being near those he trusts. Jax would suit a household with adults or older teens who understand the needs of a more reserved cat and are happy to let him adjust at his own pace.
Jax could potentially live with another calm and easygoing cat, as long as introductions are handled slowly and carefully. That said, he would also do just as well as the only cat in the home, where he can continue to grow in confidence without any added pressure.
For someone with experience and a gentle, patient approach, Jax will become a deeply rewarding and loving companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
