About Otis
Meet Otis, a charming and loyal cat with a delightful blend of curiosity and independence. Though he is very cautious of strangers, once he's settled into the right home, Otis's affection and devotion will be clear.
Otis's communication style is endearing and distinctive — he converses with a delightful chirping meow. He’s a smart kitty who is proud of knowing his name, so get used to complimenting him with lots of "Good boy, Otis!" moments. When Otis wants a chat and pats, he'll approach and softly tap you with his paw. He will brush around you, chirping and eagerly seeking your attention. If you're cooking, he will stand up next to you and chirp to get your attention ... and maybe a tiny morsel. You'll notice him scent-marking (or "smooching") everything, making sure his love for you is spread throughout the household.
While Otis is thoughtful and loves independence, he thrives in an environment with respectful companionship. He has been around young children and enjoys the social company of other cats, though younger (or young at heart) feline friends are preferred—especially for engaging in his nightly prowls around the house and stalking excursions. Otis is a cat who delights in exploration and adventure, and with some settling in time, he may even accompany you on walks with a cat lead.
His big appetite mirrors his big heart, and with mindful care and understanding of his boundaries, Otis will flourish in a home that values his spirited independence just as much as his affectionate loyalty. Invite this lovely companion into your life, and you'll have a diligent, curious fellow who can't wait to love and charm you for years to come.

Our adoption process is as follows:

2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
