About Neve
Neve is a beautiful 1-year-old Kelpie x girl who is starting to discover just how good life can be in a home. She’s an active, inquisitive dog who has gained confidence every day in her foster home and forming lovely bonds with the people around her.
Neve has been living with a busy household of six other dogs and has settled in remarkably well. She particularly enjoys the company of one smaller dog and is very keen to engage in play, she would likely enjoy having a friendly canine companion in her future home.
Neve is beginning to discover the fun side of life. She’s shown interest in toys and will happily chase a ball, although retrieving it is still a work in progress. Like many young working dogs, she is learning new things every day and responds well to patient guidance and positive reinforcement.
She has also been exposed to cats and farm animals including alpacas and donkeys. While she was initially curious and a little barky, she has settled quickly and has shown excellent self-control — choosing to observe rather than chase, which is a fantastic sign for a young kelpie learning about the world.
One of Neve’s loveliest qualities is how closely she bonds with her person. She enjoys being near her humans and is quite content to settle nearby while you work or go about your day. At home she’s happy to relax quietly, often snoozing on the floor beside the desk, but when it’s time to head outside she shows that classic kelpie enthusiasm and loves the chance to stretch her legs and explore.
Because of her working-dog heritage, Neve would do best in a home where she has space to run and opportunities for both physical and mental stimulation. With the right outlets for her energy, she has all the potential to become a wonderful companion for an active household.
With patience, kindness, and a little guidance as she continues to build confidence, Neve will make a deeply loyal and affectionate companion. For the right family, she will be a truly special dog to share life with.
Neve is located in NSW.
