About Coco Kelpie
Coco is a petite girl who has an incredibly sweet and soft nature. When she first arrived she would roll onto her back and offer her tummy in submission when we approached her but she is learning we come bearing gentle pats, kind words and even treats and she is gaining confidence quickly. She is lovely to walk on lead, thoroughly enjoys her walks with lots of built in sniff time and has taken to our treat box mazes and agility course with great enthusiasm.
Coco would appreciate a home where her people value her gentle nature and want to include her in all their activities. She also worries about storms and will need good fencing and a management strategy for ensuring she feels safe during those times.

Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc.
