Hi, I’m Ruby and I’m a Chihuahua x Fox Terrier with a gentle heart and a thoughtful approach to life. I’m not the kind of girl who rushes into things, I like to take my time, get to know my surroundings, and build trust at my own pace.

I’m at my happiest when life feels predictable. A consistent routine helps me feel safe and confident, so I’m looking for a home where things are nice and steady. Once I know you, I’ll be your quiet little companion.

I do have one important request for my future home: I need a home without young kids and I really value having a safe space, like a crate, where I can retreat and relax without being approached. Having that quiet, respected space helps me feel secure and at ease.

When we go for walks, I turn into a tiny explorer. Sniffing every corner and discovering new scents is one of my favourite things to do. I don’t need big adventures, just give me time to wander and take it all in, and I’m content.

I enjoy affection, but I like to do things on my terms. Once we’re friends, I’ll happily come over for pats, and if I’m feeling extra cozy, I might even hop onto your lap for a sit. Just let me make the first move. Oh, and I’d rather keep all four paws on the ground, being picked up isn’t really my thing.

I have a lot on my plate to process, so I would rather be the only dog to let me settle in to my full potential. I’m also a bit sensitive to sounds, so a calm, quieter home would suit me best.

New people and new experiences can feel a little overwhelming at first, so I’ll need slow, gentle introductions. With patience and understanding, I’ll show you my sweet and loyal nature.

And just between us… I love chicken. If you’ve got a chicken tender, I’ll happily settle down on my mat like the good girl I am.
