About Big Head
Meet Big Head-a lovable, larger-than-life 10-month-old tan puppy with an even bigger personality to match her name! This fun-loving, rambunctious girl is full of energy and joy, always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure.
Big Head is not just playful-she's also incredibly loyal and smart. She's spent time in a caring foster home where she's been learning all the important basics, including walking nicely on lead and settling into a home routine. She absolutely adores being around her people and thrives in a family environment where she can be included in daily life.
She's fantastic with other dogs and loves a good play session, making her a great fit for a home with a friendly canine companion or regular social outings. Her playful spirit and social nature mean she'll keep everyone entertained-and on their toes!
Big Head is looking for a home that will embrace her vibrant personality and continue guiding her as she grows. With ongoing training, patience, and lots of love, she has all the makings of a brilliant, well-rounded dog who will reward her family with endless loyalty and affection.
If you're searching for a smart, spirited, and devoted companion who will make you laugh every day, Big Head might just be your perfect match.
As Big Head is currently in foster, meet and greets are run strictly by appointment only.
To book a meet and greet with Big Head please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal. Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
