About Glinda
Glinda is a 2-year-old girl with a soft heart who has been through more than her fair share in a short life. She came into care while pregnant and bravely brought a litter of kittens into the world. Sadly, due to a severe bout of cat flu, none of her babies survived. Since then, Glinda has been learning how to feel safe again.
Understandably, Glinda is very timid and easily frightened. The world has been a confusing and overwhelming place for her, and she's still trying to figure out who she can trust. Right now, she prefers to observe quietly from a safe spot rather than seek attention but there is a gentle soul behind those cautious eyes.
Glinda is looking for a special kind of home: one that is calm, patient, and understanding. She will need a family willing to give her the time and space to come out of her shell at her own pace. Progress with cats like Glinda can be slow, but every small step forward is incredibly meaningful.
With consistency, kindness, and a quiet environment, Glinda has the potential to blossom into a loving companion. She may never be a bold, outgoing cat but for the right person, earning her trust will be deeply rewarding.
Glinda is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Glinda - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com
