About Yoda
Yoda is a male Domestic Short Hair cat available for adoption in Castle Hill (Hills District, New South Wales).
Yoda is a cat who wants to be wherever you are, tucked under the covers, trailing behind you, or draped across your lap.
He balances proper cuddle time with a cheeky, gentle sense of mischief that keeps things interesting.
Whether he's chasing a piece of string or diving under the sheets mid-bed-make, Yoda brings a lightness to the day.
A little about Yoda:
🐾 Follows you from room to room
🐾 Dives under the sheets for a game
🐾 Chases string with real enthusiasm
🐾 Gentle and patient around children
🐾 Settles beside you for bedtime cuddles
Mornings start with a burst of energy, then Yoda settles into trailing you around the house to see what's happening.
Afternoons are quieter, a mix of naps and people watching from a favourite spot.
Evenings bring a short outdoor explore before he's back inside, ready to wind down.
With familiar faces, Yoda is all in. He'll lie right beside you, especially at bedtime, and loves a long head scratch.
New faces get the confident version of Yoda. He'll take a moment to size things up, then comes forward ready to play and cuddle, on his own terms.
Yoda would thrive in a home with children; he's gentle and patient with them, and where daily life includes plenty of company.
A respectful dog is easy company for him too, especially with room to roam and a high spot to retreat to.
He enjoys a bit of safe outdoor time in his routine, alongside plenty of relaxed time indoors.
Picture Yoda following you through the house, popping up for a play, then settling in against you as the evening winds down.
Yoda is a cat who knows how to make a home feel lived in, full of company, cheek and quiet moments together.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
