Flip & Bagel - The Chunky Monkeys

Flip and Bagel are gentle souls who love people, love each other and just love love. They are a deeply bonded brother and siter combo who adore people almost as much as they adore each other.

They were well loved by their previous owner but sadly family members developed allergies to the pair, that only seemed to worsen over time no matter what they tried, so they had to make the tough decision to find them a new home.

They come from a loving household and have a lot of love to give.

Flip (Male) is a playful, affectionate boy with a black coat and white paws (tuxedo colouring). He forms a strong bond with his primary carer and will often come to check on you, quietly popping in to see where you are and that you’re okay. He’s attentive without being demanding and is equally happy giving you space when you’re busy. Flip has a gentle, loyal nature and thrives on connection and routine.

Bagel (Female) also answers to Sweetheart - is an orange, brown, and white girl with the softest soul. She’s a classic slow burn: shy at first, but once trust is built, she becomes an incredibly affectionate, cuddly little “chubby bunny.” Her favourite thing in the world is curling up on the couch beside you, purring contentedly and soaking up love.

They are not just pets - they are sensitive, loyal companions who deserve a home where they can continue to feel safe, adored, and deeply loved.

Home Life & Habits

• Indoor cats, but enjoy time outside in a secure, gated or fenced backyard on
warm, sunny days (heat-safe, under 32°C).
• Both dislike rain and prefer dry, cozy spaces
• Love birdwatching, sunbathing, and gazing out the window.
• Well-behaved and settled - no midnight scratching, yowling, or door-meowing.
• Expect breakfast once you’re up and moving (they are polite but enthusiastic about
food!).

Both these little angels are gentle souls who will take a moment to warm up once they arrive in their new home but will reward your patience with an incredible amount of joy and affection once they get to know you.

But brace yourself, they are both very chunky monkeys, they definitely got the chubby genes from their parents, but it just adds to their charm :)

We would love to find them a calm a quiet home with someone who has the time, patience, and affection to give them the life that they deserve. Someone who will treasure them as the beautiful pair they are.

They would be the perfect fit for a retiree or someone that works from home and wants an affectionate pair of beautiful souls to keep them company and bring an infinite amount of love and joy to their home.

Flip and Bagel are approximately is approximately 3.5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
