Flip and Bagel – A Beautifully Bonded Brother and Sister Pair Looking for Their Forever Home.

Flip and Bagel are two gentle, loving souls who adore people almost as much as they adore each other. This deeply bonded brother and sister pair share a special connection and thrive on companionship, warmth, and affection.

They came from a loving home where they were very well cared for, but their family sadly had to make the difficult decision to rehome them after family members developed worsening allergies despite their best efforts.

Meet the Pair:

Flip (Male) is a handsome black tuxedo boy with striking white paws. He’s playful yet gentle, with a loyal and attentive nature. Flip loves quietly checking in on his people, offering sweet company without being demanding. He forms strong, meaningful bonds and is happiest when he knows you’re nearby.

Bagel (Female), also known as Sweetheart, is a beautiful orange, brown, and white girl with the softest personality. She’s a classic slow-burn cat — a little shy when she first meets you, but once she trusts, she melts into the most affectionate “chubby bunny.” Her favourite thing is curling up beside you on the couch, purring deeply while soaking up all the love and cuddles.

Both are sweet, well-behaved, and low-maintenance cats. They are indoor cats but enjoy supervised time in a secure, fenced backyard on warm, sunny days (under 32°C). They love birdwatching, sunbathing by the window, and relaxing in cosy spots. You won’t have to worry about midnight zooming, scratching, or loud meowing — they’re polite, settled, and simply ask for breakfast once you’re up and moving.

They may take a short time to settle and warm up in a new home, but with patience and kindness, they will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and quiet companionship.

Flip and Bagel are charmingly chunky — their extra padding only adds to their adorable appeal! They would be the perfect fit for a calm, quiet household, especially a retiree or someone who works from home and would love having two affectionate companions to share their days with.

They are coming to their new home with their own private litterbox cabinet and a few other accessories to help them settle in comfortably.

About Flip and Bagel:

Both approximately 3.5 years old.
Desexed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
Available for adoption right meow.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
