About Gerald
Meet Gerald — the handsome ginger-and-white gentleman with a heart that’s finally found its softness
Gerald’s story started a little rough, but you’d never guess it meeting him today. Once a worried boy who wasn’t sure how to trust, he has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate companion who genuinely enjoys human company. These days, Gerald loves being picked up, leans into pats, and happily soaks up all the gentle affection he can get.
His favourite thing in the world is slow, soothing strokes from head to tail — the kind that make his eyes go soft and his whole body relax. And in true ginger fashion, he often flops onto his back with a dramatic roll, as if to say, “I’m ready for my adoration now.”
Gerald is also a bit of a character. He likes to perch up high in his cat tower, surveying his kingdom like the dignified little supervisor he believes he is. He’ll chirp and chatter to you when he wants attention, and he’s not shy about reminding you when dinner time is approaching. He currently prefers Whiskas, but we’re gently encouraging him to broaden his culinary horizons.
One important thing to know: Gerald isn’t a fan of other cats. He much prefers being the centre of attention and would thrive as an only pet in a calm, loving home where he can continue to feel safe and adored.
Gerald is the perfect mix of charm, sweetness, and personality — a boy who just needed patience and kindness to show who he truly is. Now that he’s found his confidence, he’s ready to find a family who will love him just as much as he’ll love them.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
