About Plum
Hi, I’m Plum — a big, calm, cuddly girl with a beautifully steady nature.
At just 8 weeks old, my best feature is already shining through — I’m naturally calm, thoughtful, and grounded. While other pups are all go-go-go, I’m the one who takes things in, settles well, and leans in for a cuddle.
There’s something a little Shepherd-like about me — I’m observant, gentle, and I like to understand my surroundings before jumping into them. That calm, steady temperament is something really special, and it’s going to make me an incredibly loyal companion as I grow.
I do have Kelpie in me, so I’ll still need the right balance of structure, guidance, and mental stimulation as I grow — but I’m showing a beautiful ability to switch off and be close with my people.
I love being near you. I’ll follow you around, then settle in beside you once I feel safe. I’m not full chaos — I’m connection, calm, and cuddles.
I’m going to be a solid, larger dog, so I’ll need a home that’s ready to guide me with consistency and continue my training — setting me up properly will be key.

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
