ABOUT
Meet Tui – a sweet little survivor named after the forest she was found in. 🌿
This tiny girl was discovered alone in Toohey Forest by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who managed to safely trap the frightened, emaciated kitten. Tui had lost so much weight that her collar had slipped right over her shoulder. She was taken straight to a vet clinic, where we learned she was only around 6 months old and weighed just 1.2kg — far too small for her age.
Now in BFF’s care, Tui is absolutely thriving. In just a couple of months she has gained 700 grams, and with good food, safety, and lots of love, her beautiful personality is finally shining through. ✨
Tui is a playful little girl who adores affection. She isn’t a fan of being picked up, but she will happily trot over for pats whenever she gets the chance. She’ll even come to greet you at the door when you arrive home — as if she’s been waiting just for you. 💕
This clever kitty also takes her job of leftover disposal very seriously and will happily help you finish any spare veggies!
Tui is still discovering the joy of toys. Some are a little scary at first, but she loves a good wrestle and chasing balls once she gets going.
After such a rough start, Tui is ready for a loving home where she can continue to grow, play, and feel safe forever. 🐾
Please note: As all our cats live in foster homes, a completed Meet & Greet application is required before we can arrange a visit.
