About Tony
Meet Mr G.
When Mr G first arrived, he made one thing very clear: he did not apply for this job, he did not request human interaction, and he would like to speak to management immediately.
To put it politely ... he was not a fan of staff.
To put it honestly ... he was a professional-level grump with an attitude problem and zero patience for nonsense.
Fast forward to today and Mr G has made some progress. He's still got the sass, the attitude, and the "don't test me" energy but we've seen glimpses of the actually pretty cool cat hiding underneath that tough-guy exterior.
Let's be clear about a few things though: Everything with Mr G happens on Mr G's terms.
Pats? Maybe.
Sitting near you? Possibly.
Treats? Absolutely yes. Immediately.
But if Mr G says the meeting is over, the meeting is over. He gives very clear warnings, and his future humans need to be the kind of people who respect a cat setting boundaries like the tiny furry CEO he is.
Mr G is currently working with our behaviour team to polish up his manners (his words: "allegedly"), and he's showing us he's actually a very smart boy. Because of this, he would LOVE a home that can keep his brain busy - think trick training, puzzle toys, enrichment games, or even those talking buttons cats press. Honestly, we feel like he'd use them exclusively to request snacks and complain about the service, but we support personal growth.
Speaking of snacks ...
Mr G loves treats.
A little too much.
Our boy is currently carrying a bit of extra "fluff" and will need a committed personal trainer (you) to help him stick to a diet and get moving. With his huge energy levels, we suspect once he gets going he'll be quite the athlete, or at least, slightly less round.
A few more important notes from Mr G himself:
Carriers are evil. Respect the warnings. Snacks should be delivered promptly.
Mr G isn't for everyone, and he'd like to keep it that way. But for the right person who appreciates a big personality, a smart cat, and a little bit of chaos, Mr G could be an incredibly rewarding companion.
Underneath all that sass is a cat who is learning to trust, in his own time, in his own way. And honestly? We kind of love him for it.
Mr G is looking for a home that respects boundaries, enjoys a bit of attitude, and is ready to negotiate with a very determined cat.
Apply if you think you're qualified to work for him.
(Warning: compensation may include occasional affection and strict snack supervision.)
