About Scoot
Scoot. Scooty. Mad kitty. Norty Torty. Sweetheart
Scoot is a kitty who goes by a few names. Most of which suit her quite well. Scoot is a young, healthy kitty, ready for a life of food, cuddles and play.
She loves
• Snuggling. Knees, feet, laps. Sometimes even chest snuggles.
• Dogs. If they’re quiet she will snuggle with them every night.
• Pats, ear scratches, butt rubs.
• Food. Scooty is very food motivated. She will park up near you at dinner time. Though she’s not quite rude enough to steal from your plate.
• Sunbathing and soft beds.
• Toys. Do you have a basket of cat toys that haven’t been played with in years? That’s Scooty’s holy grail.
• Kittens.
• Doing things with her person. She will follow you from room to room as you do jobs.
• A routine.
Things Scoot doesn’t like
• Being picked up. You can pick her up, but she’s not really comfortable with it.
• Strangers.
• Being around standing people. We are SO TALL and she is so small. Which means she can be difficult to catch if needed.
Scoot was born on the streets, and bought into rescue as an older kitten. She takes some time to get used to you. In her ideal home, Scoot would have a crate set up to acclimatise her, or spend some extended time in a small, out of the way room. The benefit of a crate is that you can get to know her in a smaller space, and she can get used to the environment as a whole, while still feeling safe.
Scoot has not been around kids, so would not be suited to a home with children.
Scoot is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000016855516, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
