About Joey, greyhound
If you are interested in Joey, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Joey is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart⊠and then your spot on the couch.
This gorgeous boy can suit both apartment or house living and is currently thriving in foster care with another greyhound. He could happily live as a solo dog, but would also love a home with another hound to keep him company.
Joey is great on lead, walking politely by your side with no pulling, and has been well-mannered with medium to large dogs, especially other greyhounds. Heâs currently left alone with another dog during the day and manages this well, and can hold his toileting overnight (around 8 hours) with no issues.
While he can handle busier environments like the city, Joey will benefit from a little time to adjust to new surroundings. He can be a bit timid when first meeting new people or experiencing new things, but with a gentle introduction, he warms up quickly and shows his true, affectionate nature.
And what a nature that is⊠Joey is incredibly cuddly, goofy, and full of love. His big brown eyes are full of curiosity and intelligence, and he just wants to be part of whatever youâre doing. Heâs very food motivated, making training easy and rewarding.
His absolute favourite thing in the world? Cuddles. Joey is a professional snuggler who will happily drape himself over you on the couch and politely ask for more pats by placing his paw on you or giving you that look until you give in.
Joey has so much love to give and will thrive in a home that can offer him patience, reassurance, and endless affection. In return, youâll get the most loyal, loving companion by your side đ
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
