About Meowser & Torta-Lina 🐈 12 WO Domestic Short Hair
Meowser and Torta-Lina are a beautiful brother and sister duo who share a truly special bond, and they’re looking for a home where they can stay together, just as they’ve always known.
Meowser, the friendly little boy, is full of affection and confidence. He’ll happily come straight up to you for pats, soaking up attention and making you feel instantly loved. By his side is Torta-Lina, his gorgeous sister, who looks to him for comfort and guidance. She follows his lead, and together they move through life as a perfectly matched pair—where one goes, the other is never far behind.
Both are incredibly friendly and gentle, with sweet natures that make them a joy to be around. They bring out the best in each other—Meowser’s confidence helps Torta-Lina feel safe, and her quiet devotion keeps them closely connected. Watching their relationship is something truly special.
Their dark, striking coats only add to their beauty, but sadly, cats with darker colouring are so often overlooked in shelters. Through no fault of their own, they can wait longer for homes simply because of their colour. But those who take the time to meet them quickly realise just how special they are—loving, loyal, and deeply connected.
Adopting two cats may sound like a bigger commitment, but in reality, it often makes life easier and more fulfilling—for both you and them. They keep each other company, play together, comfort one another, and settle into new environments more smoothly because they have that familiar presence by their side. They are local adoption only as need to be desexed locally and suitable for children 8 years and older.
May be ok with other very friendly dog and/or cat.
The adoption fee is $450 which includes desexing when they are old enough. They have been vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
They are in foster care in the Newcastle, NSW area. Since not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
