About Nulla
Nulla is a big, beautiful girl with a gorgeous temperament. Despite her size, she is incredibly gentle, calm and easy to have around — the kind of dog who quietly fits into the home and makes everything feel more settled.
She is very well behaved and already knows several commands, with excellent obedience and a willingness to listen. Nulla walks beautifully on lead, has great recall, and is fully toilet trained. She’s relaxed, low fuss and although she loves a good run and play session she's more of a couch potato than a high-energy dog, happily enjoying her downtime with her people.
Nulla is dog friendly and social, though she has shown some mild resource guarding with other dogs in the home. This is expected to improve as she settles and feels more secure in her environment, and can be managed with appropriate introductions and feeding routines.
She is also very easy to handle — happy with baths, nail trims and general care — and does not suffer from separation anxiety, making her a straightforward and low-maintenance companion.
With her friendly temperament, calm, obedient nature and affectionate personality, Nulla will suit a home looking for a calm, loyal and well-mannered dog who is ready to slot into family life with ease.
Medical notes
Nulla has an underbite. It doesn't affect her ability to eat.
Adoption details
Nulla recently entered a heat cycle and under veterinary advice we are waiting for that to pass before she can be desexed. We are keen for her to find her forever home and would consider a foster-to-adopt agreement with the right applicant so she can begin settling in and bonding with her new family before her surgery date. The surgery will be performed at Lower Plenty vet clinic and the cost of surgery would be covered by our rescue. Her adoption would be finalised after her sterilisation certificate has been received.
