Scruffy (On Trial)

Scruffy is a 3yo maltese x shih tzu and a real cutie pie. He's a very loving, affectionate little dog. He could be in a multi animal family because he is very social and likes other dogs. When he first came into rescue he did not interact very well but in time has learnt how to play with other dogs and now is very outgoing. . . He would be great in a home with a single person or a couple, but is not suited to a family with children because he becomes jealous and wants all the cuddles for himself. . . He has a very handsome, soft, low-shedding coat which requires brushing and clipping. But at least he won't leave fur around your house!. . . He is not a nuisance barker but will let you know when a stranger calls. He has a good appetite but is not a greedy dog. He takes food from fingers very gently. He's an inside boy. He's housetrained and always comes when called. At present he sleeps inside on our bed but is quite content when put on his own bed. We will be sad to say goodbye to little scruffy but look forward to seeing him go to a loving, forever home where he will be someone's very devoted little friend. . . Dog rescue newcastle www.
