About Roo
Meet Roo — a handsome and affectionate two-year-old Kelpie.
Bright and on-the-ball, Roo is looking for an experienced forever home to continue his training and keep him engaged with fun games and activities. He is eager to learn and is quickly mastering sitting and waiting for his meals - his favourite words are “Good boy!”
Roo travels well in the car and will happily tag along with you wherever you're off to. He has very good recall, is house trained and will sleep through the night in a crate - although he would rather sleep in his bed. Roo enjoys an active lifestyle, but he also has a great off-switch and will relax on the couch for cuddles once the day is done.
Roo loves his people. He would be well suited to families with older children, couples, or someone in search of a loyal sidekick. He gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and he would enjoy a canine companion to play with. He would also be happy as an only dog if his people are around more often than not. Roo is not suitable for a home with cats or other small animals.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
