About Fred & George (AKA Quentin & Quigley)
These two nearly identical ginger brothers - nicknamed Fred & George by their millenial foster carers - are the absolute dream cats. They are SO affectionate, sweet, and funny; they just want to be wherever you are in the house - supervising you cooking, showering, working, or watching TV - and they will do a little meow asking where you are if they’re not sure which room you're in.
They purr non-stop and adore cuddles. It doesn’t matter where/how you pat them or pick them up - belly rubs, holding their toe beans, cradling them like a baby, kissing their face etc. etc. - they love it and have never bitten or scratched - not even once! The second you sit down on the sofa or at your desk, they are there to purr up a storm on your lap and keep you company.
They aren’t destructive of furniture and instead use their scratching post. George is still learning to use the litter tray rather than the pot plants, but being exceptionally food motivated should help correct this in time, especially since Fred has already got the memo. They are both content being indoors-only cats (a non-negotiable for their adopters) and don’t try to dart through the doors as you pass through.
They are a true bonded pair and are the epitome of brotherly love in that they love wrestling each other, grooming each other, spooning together, doing parkour around the living room, and counter-surfing for crumbs together. They make you laugh constantly (a cardboard box provided hours of entertainment the other night) and have been confident little dudes from day one, even with a big dog in their foster carers’ house.
Despite being super affectionate, they are also independent and can be left at home together when their foster humans go out here and there. They also enjoy a snooze in a dark spot during the day (lately it's under the lounge or in the basket of scarves in the wardrobe).
Please enquire to meet them in Otford NSW (near Stanwell Tops, about an hour south of Sydney). Their foster carers can also facilitate a video meet and greet if that’s helpful.

Adoption details
The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
