About Grain Wave
Grain Wave had a rough start to life. He and his sibling were removed from their nest as babies and left to fend for themselves despite being far too young.
Despite this, he still has so much love to give.
Grain Wave is a spunky little guy full of character. Whenever he sees you, he’ll do a cheerful “notice me!” coo.
He enjoys perching on your shoulder, gently nibbling on your fingers, and being told he’s a pretty boy in a sing-song voice. Once he builds trust, he'll give you a little preen, because nothing builds your self-esteem quite like a pigeon telling you that you're a bit grubby. He's not a big fan of hands, but with time and patience he could learn to tolerate them.
Grain Wave would suit a variety of homes, both indoor and outdoor. Whatever the home, Grain Wave would love if his special person could give him lots of love and attention!
Medical notes
Grain Wave had canker when he came into care, but this has since been treated. He has no lasting issues from this and no other pre-existing medical conditions.
He has received his yearly dose of PMV vaccine.
Our birds receive a new crop wash & faecal before heading to their new home.

Once your application is received, we’ll have a conversation to discuss your application, answer any questions, and organise a meet and greet with the bird (if desired).
