About Crouton
Meet Crouton: The Sweetest Little Survivor! 😻
Crouton’s story began in a heartbreaking way — found alone in a gutter at just three weeks old, with no mama and no siblings. But thanks to the love and care of his dedicated rescuers, he thrived, and now he’s living his best life!
This adorable boy is full of joy, and we are so grateful to see him happy and healthy. Crouton is a cuddle enthusiast who purrs the moment you talk to him. His favourite spot? The cozy basket on his cat tree, where he naps in total relaxation. 🧺💤
He’s also a playful little adventurer! Crouton is a tunnel pro, zooming through with wild energy, and loves popping his head out to surprise you. And when he gets the zoomies, watch out — he’ll race down the back of the hallway like a tiny speedster, and it’s absolutely hilarious to watch! 🏃♂️💨
When he's not showing off his zoomies, he’s chasing toys or hanging out with his kitty pals. 🐾
A hide-and-seek champion and an all-around sweetheart, Crouton would love to find a forever home with another feline friend to share in his playful adventures.
And if you're ever in need of some extra crunch for your salad… Crouton’s got you covered! 🥗💚🐱

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
