About Curtis
Meet Curtis - your future best friend 🐾
Curtis is a lovable medium-sized puppy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. Like any typical pup, he's full of curiosity, playful energy, and just the right amount of mischief to keep you smiling every day.
One of Curtis's favorite things in the world is playtime with his sister, Stone. Whether they're tumbling around together or exploring their surroundings, Curtis brings a joyful, easygoing spirit to every moment. He's social, affectionate, and thrives on companionship-both canine and human.
Curtis has spent time in foster care, where he's been learning all the important "how to be a dog" basics. He's started getting the hang of routines, building confidence, and understanding the world around him. Like any young pup, he'll need continued guidance, patience, and positive reinforcement as he grows-but he's more than ready to keep learning.
Now, Curtis is looking for his forever home-a place where he can continue to develop his skills, share his love, and truly belong. With the right family, he's sure to grow into a loyal, fun-loving companion who will bring years of happiness. Curtis ideally requires a bigger canine brother or sister to aid in his development and ensure he grows into a well-mannered and social individual, and as such preference will be given to applicants with a pre-existing dog in the home.
If you're ready for puppy cuddles, playful chaos, and a lifelong bond, Curtis might just be the perfect match for you. 🐶💛

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
