About Doris
Doris is such a charming girl. Sweet and gentle in nature.
She is in care with her siblings and has shown the most interest in befriending the other cats in her foster home over her siblings. This little socialite loves to play and hang out with her human. She'll join you in bed for pats and will greet you with an exposed belly if you find her sleeping spot..
She loves a pat and sometimes makes biscuits in your hands. Doris perfectly balances her strong personality with being a sweetheart. She is so easy to love, and she looks striking with her unique colouring. If you ever take a moment to sit on the floor you will likely find this little lady loafing next to you to hang out. It's super cute.
A surprising and funny quirk Doris has is she loves her toys and if she's focused chewing and bopping one on her own she will let out a little grumble if another cat gets close. She is not aggressive at all which makes it very funny and gets some confused looks from the other cats. Doris would be great in any household, but she would benefit another feline friend due to her interest in socialising with others, whether that be one of her siblings also up for adoption or if you already have a friendly feline. She is polite and patient in befriending others.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
