About Bowie
Bowie arrived at The Lost Dogs Home after being surrendered, bringing with her a lifetime of experience, a no-nonsense attitude, and, well ... a few extra kilograms. This is a cat who has never missed a meal and frankly doesn't believe she ever should.
Let's not tiptoe around it, Bowie is a VERY large unit. A glorious, majestic, slightly-too-round unit. She is deeply passionate about treats, highly skilled at locating food, and would absolutely win a gold medal in competitive snack acquisition. Unfortunately for Bowie, her new home will need to introduce her to the concept of a "diet." (She will not agree with this. She will, however, survive.)
Bowie has previously lived with older kids and a dog, and while she managed just fine, she made it very clear that she is not the one to be messed with. If the dog stepped out of line? Bowie handled it. Firmly. Decisively. No notes. She's not aggressive, she just has boundaries and isn't afraid to enforce them like a tiny, fluffy security guard.
She can take a little time to warm up, mostly because she's busy judging you and assessing whether you're worthy of her presence. But once you're in, you're in. Bowie settles into home life like she owns the place (because in her mind, she absolutely does) and enjoys a quiet environment where she can relax, supervise, and keep an eye on snack distribution.
Bowie is looking for a calm, understanding home that will respect her space, appreciate her sass, and commit to helping her shed a few kilos, whether she likes it or not.
If you've got a soft spot for big girls with big personalities, and you're ready to be managed by a cat who runs a tight ship (and a tighter snack schedule), Bowie is waiting.
